سمو رئيس مجلس الوزراء يستقبل الامين العام لمنظمة الطيران المدني الدولي
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace H.E. Dr. Fang Liu - Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), accompanied by H.E. President of Civil Aviation Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Homoud Al-Sabah, and in the presence of Sheikha/ Etimad Khaled Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Mr./ Mohamed Rahma - Regional Manager of the International Civil Aviation (ICAO) for the Middle East, and Eng./ Saad Al-Otaibi - Civil Aviation Spokesman. The meeting began with a statement by H.E. Dr. Fang Liu - Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), in which she expressed her happiness to be visiting the State of Kuwait, and stressed on the progress taking place in the air-transport sector at Kuwait which encompasses the development and modernization of the infrastructure of Kuwait International Airport. For his part, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah welcomed the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and expressed his wishes of success for the activities of the 5th Meeting of the Directors General of International Civil Aviation (ICAO). Later, His Highness affirmed Kuwait's keenness to develop the air-transport sector and ensure the security and safety aspects of the civil aviation on the one hand, as well as the State’s intention to develop the services rendered to the passengers, on the other hand.
استقبل سمو رئيس مجلس الوزراء الشيخ / جابر المبارك الحمد الصباح في قصر بيان سعادة الأمين العام لمنظمة الطيران المدني الدولي ( ICAO ) الدكتورة / فانغ ليو برفقة رئيس الطيران المدني الشيخ / سلمان صباح السالم الحمود الصباح وبحضور الشيخة / اعتماد خالد الأحمد الصباح والمدير الإقليمي لمنظمة الطيران المدني الدولي في الشرق الأوسط محمد رحمة والمتحدث الرسمي للطيران المدني المهندس / سعد العتيبي . في بداية اللقاء ، تحدثت سعادة الأمين العام لمنظمة الطيران المدني الدولي الدكتورة / فانغ ليو ( ICAO ) الدكتورة / فانغ ليو عن سعادتها بزيارة دولة الكويت ، مشيرة الى التقدم الذي يشهده قطاع النقل الجوي في الكويت وما يتضمن من تطوير لتحديث البنية التحتية لمطار الكويت الدولي . من جانبه، رحب سمو رئيس مجلس الوزراء الشيخ / جابر المبارك الحمد الصباح بالأمين العام لمنظمة الطيران المدني الدولي ( ICAO ) ، معرباً عن امله في إنجاح فعاليات الاجتماع الخامس لمدراء عامون الطيران المدني الدولي ( ICAO ). ثم اكد سموه على اهتمام دولة الكويت لتطوير قطاع النقل الجوي والحرص على الجوانب الأمنية لسلامة الطيران المدني من جهة، وحرص الدولة كذلك على تطوير الخدمات المقدمة للركاب من جهة أخرى
