Kuwait signs aviation agreement with Nicaragua
Kuwait signed an "initials" agreement with Nicaragua to regulate aviation services, the first of its kind between the two countries. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 40th session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in Montreal, Canada, on Thursday evening. In a statement to KUNA, Deputy Director General for Aviation Safety and Air Transport Affairs at the The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Emad Al-Juluwi said the agreement "comes in line with the modernized policy of the DGCA to open new horizons to encourages international airlines to increase their flights to Kuwait International Airport". It will promote air traffic between the two countries, encourage trade exchange, and provide new and varied options to serve passengers from both countries.
