The Future of Aviation Conference in Riyadh

The Director-General of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation - Eng./ Yousef Al-Fouzan, said that the participation of the State of Kuwait in the conference on the Future of Aviation in Riyadh emanates from the joint collaboration between the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the Saudi General Civil Aviation Authority, and is an opportunity to learn about global expertise in the field of aviation. Al-Fouzan, who heads the delegation of the State of Kuwait participating in the conference, said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the sideline of the conference that the participation aims to explore the experiences and expertise of the participants in the conference, including officials, experts and international companies in the field of aviation, especially in dealing with the effects of the (Coronavirus) pandemic. Al-Fouzan pointed out that the conference aims to improve and develop air-transport, restore it to what it was before, and benefit from international experiences in the field of aviation. He indicated that holding such an international conference by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be of great benefit to the air-transport sector in its various fields, whether at the local or global level, as the conference was well received by all the countries participating in it, which numbered more than 60 countries and two thousand participants and experts in the air-transport sector. He stressed that holding the conference reflects the Kingdom's serious desire to raise the level of Civil Aviation in line with the (Kingdom's Vision 2030) despite the challenges facing this important sector. Al-Fouzan expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the warm reception and generous hospitality, praising the excellent organization and the great efforts made by the organizers of the conference, wishing success for this conference in achieving its desired objectives. The delegation of the State of Kuwait, headed by Al-Fouzan, includes the Deputy Director-General for Administrative, Financial and Legal Affairs at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation - Fahed Al-Obaidli, and the Head of Follow-up Section at the Office of the Director-General of Civil Aviation - Abdullah Al-Ajmi. The activities of the Future of Aviation Conference were launched earlier today, Monday, in (Riyadh), organized by the Saudi General Civil Aviation Authority, under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and will continue until May 11, with wide international participation.
