Civil Aviation Participates in the General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization in the Capital, Rabat

Al-Ali: We look forward to more collaboration in the fields of Civil Aviation and Air-Transport The activities of the 27th Session of the General Assembly of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization, which was held in the Moroccan capital - Rabat, were concluded with the participation of the State of Kuwait through an official delegation headed by the President of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation Sheikh/ Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, and in the presence of officials and heads of the Civil Aviation and Air-Transports in the Arab countries. The President of Civil Aviation Sheikh/ Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah, affirmed in a press statement after the conclusion of the General Assembly meetings, that the participation of the State of Kuwait emanates from its belief in strengthening joint Arab action and activating collaboration between member States in various fields, especially in everything related to aspects of Civil Aviation and Air-Transport in the Arab region in particular and with the specialized international organizations in general. Sheikh/ Abdullah Al-Ali said that the State of Kuwait has been and still making obvious contributions during the course of work of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization affiliated to the General Secretariat of the Arab League, whereby Kuwait had assumed the presidency of the General Assembly from 2018 to 2021 and currently holds the position of Vice President of the Executive Office of the organization, pointing that Kuwait is looking forward to more collaboration and will continue to support this specialized technical organization that has achieved the concept of Arab partnership and collaboration in the Air-Transport sector. The President of Civil Aviation stated that this meeting comes after the Covid-19 pandemic has receded, the conditions of the Civil Aviation sector has improved, and the demand for travel has increased in various countries of the world, pointing that the pace of recovery is expected to increase during the next summer season. Sheikh/ Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah indicated that the meetings of the General Assembly discussed a number of topics, most notably dealing with the effects of the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic and how to deal with the current state of recovery to enhance the role of Civil Aviation authorities and the national carriers in the Arab world and to overcome future challenges in global markets. He added that the General Assembly also discussed the reports of the technical committees and what was accomplished during the previous fiscal year, in addition to the work plans for the next session. Sheikh/ Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah praised the warm reception and generous hospitality of the Moroccan government and the brotherly Moroccan people, wishing the brothers in the Kingdom progress, prosperity and success in all political, economic and social aspects. It is worth noting that the State of Kuwait, represented by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, is participates with an official delegation headed by the President of Civil Aviation Sheikh/ Abdullah Al-Ali Al-Sabah and the presence of the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Kingdom of Morocco Abdullatif Al-Yahia, and the membership of the Deputy Director-General for Aviation Safety, Air-Transport and Civil Aviation Security Affairs - Eng./ Duaij Al-Otaibi, the Department Director of the Office of the President of Civil Aviation - Dawoud Al-Jarrah, the Director of the Air-Transport Department - Abdullah Al-Rajehi, and the representative of the Air-Transport Department - Mohammed Al-Saeed.
